Just in time for Christmas, one lucky Powerball player could win $1.7 billion before taxes in tonight's lottery drawing.

The Powerball winning numbers are in for the Monday, Dec. 29 drawing with a jackpot back to $33 million ($15.2 million cash value). The largest winning Powerball jackpot ticket sold in Michigan was worth $842.4 million and sold in January 2024 at Food Castle in Grand Blanc.

The winning numbers for the Powerball jackpot worth an estimated $1.6 billion were drawn on Monday, but there once again was no jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were: 3,18, 36, 41 and 54 with a red Powerball of 7. The multiplier was 2x.

The Powerball jackpot has soared to one of the largest in the lottery game's history. The current jackpot is estimated to be $1.7 billion for the drawing on Christmas Eve Wednesday, after there was no winner in Monday's drawing. The numbers from Monday's drawing were 3, 18, 36, 41 and 54. The Powerball was 7 and the Power Play multiplier was 2x.
